Wed Evening “Away Night”

One Wednesday evening run per month is an “away night” during the months of April to September. We meet at 6:45p.m. on these nights at an alternative location such as South Cave, Market Weighton, Welton etc., convening afterwards in a local hostelry. Maps and route descriptions are provided on the night. Coordinator of the ‘away’ runs, Pete McNally, would welcome any volunteer who may wish to organise such a run.

Additionally when practical and when the race calender permits there will be organised training runs on a Sunday from either Beverley L C or a nearby location.

We are extremely fortunate to have a great variety of routes to choose from on Sundays and during the light nights, whether we are training from Beverley Leisure Centre or an alternative location. Care is taken to try to cater for all members by devising routes with varying distances.

Wednesday evening runs during the dark winter nights tend to be either clockwise or anti-clockwise around the centre of Beverley with set routes varying in distance from about 4 to 9 miles.
